Deerfield County Park Professional Review and Guide
"This tranquil 590-acre park sidles up next to the Chippewa River and rolls through small hills. Two suspension bridges and one covered bridge cross the river, perfect for entertaining young children. The first half of the route closely follows the mellow River Trail, ideal for families.
The second half rolls more pronouncedly along the Wildwood Pathway, a National Recreation Trail with narrow singletrack and a log jump. Interconnecting trails, begging for exploration, crisscross the park. The park, an island of trees among farmland, is also extremely popular with hikers, so display your most courteous biking behavior. Tread: 1.4 miles of doubletrack, 4.3 miles of wide and narrow singletrack."
