Beaufort Lake State Forest Campground Professional Review and Guide
"This collection of sunny sites just off the passing road does not accept reservations. The camp has access to the 462-acre Beaufort Lake, which connects with Lakes George and Ruth. Fishing here is for walleye, pike, and perch. A nearby scenic site is Canyon Falls Roadside Park, about 12 miles northwest, which provides a boardwalk along the Sturgeon River. Otherwise there isn’t much going on inside the camp itself."
