Pomeroy Lake Campground Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"Ottawa National Forest makes up almost one million acres here in the Upper Peninsula. It isn’t hard to find rustic tranquility far from civilization. Pomeroy surely fits the bill. The directions alone keep most people away. Located on a small curve of forested land jutting out into the lake, the campground has ample shade and privacy among its 17 sites. Anglers use a concrete boat ramp in camp to get out for the muskellunge, pike, walleye, crappie, bass, and blue- gill. If this is too far out, look for other sites closer to Marenisco for a very similar experience."
