Located on the Manistee River, the campground attracts anglers, pad- dlers, and nature lovers. Sites are best for tents and small trailers. The 40-foot maximum is only available on 3 sites. The North Country National Scenic Trail is 1 mile north of here, and the North Missaukee Trail is an ATV trail 10 miles to the east. Anglers come for brown and rainbow trout in the river, as well as walleye and bass. Paddlers can carry in from the camp or use the launch across the road.
