Milakokia Lake State Forest Campground Professional Review and Guide
"This 1,956-acre lake lies just south of US 2, and about 16 miles west of where that highway becomes a scenic route right along Lake Michigan. Its proximity to US 2 makes it a good overnight stop between here and there, but anglers have a hard boat ramp and decent fishing. The closest hiking of note is 16 miles to Big Knob and the Seney National Wildlife Refuge is 25 miles west. Some of the sites are too small for the big rigs, but they are all shaded and line up along the park road backed up to the lake on the one side."
