Sleepy Hollow State Park Professional Review and Guide
"Encompassing 410-acre Lake Ovid, this state park is a popular mid- Michigan escape. The campground is divided into 2 sections, each with 2 long loops of sites. There is no understory, so sites are not very private, though they are spacious enough and some shade is provided. A short walking trail connects the camping area to the beach area. Kayaks, pontoons, and paddleboats are available for rent, and there is a nice disc golf course at the park. Hikers and bikers have 11 miles of trails, while horse riders have 6 miles. Lake Ovid is good for a swim and attracts anglers for muskie, largemouth and smallmouth bass, perch, and various panfish. Birders have recorded over 220 species here."
