Guernsey Lake State Forest Campground Professional Review and Guide
"If you are looking for wildlife, Sand Lakes Quiet Area is a good place to set up camp. The rolling hills of pine and oak forest and its 5 marl lakes are rich with critters. Trails for both hikers and bikers total over 10 miles here and connect right into the campground. Guernsey Lake itself offers bass, bluegill, and trout for the anglers. But for the ORV enthusiast, the closest trail is the 66-mile Grand Traverse trail, 4 miles southwest of here."
