Burt Lake State Park

Burt Lake State Park Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This is the heart of Michigan’s Inland Lakes Waterway, a 38-mile chain of lakes and rivers popular with boaters. The sites are arranged more or less as contiguous long loops lying parallel to the lake. Abundant trees shade the majority of them, but the row closest to the lake has a lot of sunshine. The beach offers swimming or fishing on Burt Lake, and hiking is limited to 1 mile of trail. Though there are a very large number of sites, facilities also include 4 toilet and shower buildings to serve all those campers."
