Wilson State Park Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"Donated to the state of Michigan by a lumber company that operated on-site in the late 1800s, these 36 acres of woods include a sandy swimming beach along the northwest end of Budd Lake. Anglers may find muskie, bass, panfish, perch, and walleye, and there’s a boat launch outside the park at the southern end of the lake. This is a common place to camp for attendees of the many summer events at Clare County Fairgrounds right across the street. Other area activities include mini golf, go-karts, and paddling on the Muskegon River."
