Twisting continuously, this tight, mostly flat trail system was designed for mountain bikers by mountain bikers. Maintained by the Michigan Mountain Biking Association, the narrow singletrack is home to whoop-de-dos, sand mounds, narrow tree passages, and roots. The small trail system is really two trails. The North Loop is a little straighter than the South Loop and twists through dense pine trees before crossing over the dirt access road. The South Loop twists relentlessly, making the short trail seem much longer. The route described in this eTrail begins with the North Loop then merges with the South Loop. Tread: 5.4 miles of singletrack.

Nice ride, mostly level ground but lots of twists and turns. Could be challenging for some beginners but not too much to be scared of if they take their time. More advanced riders can get a decent workout. Took a friend of mine with his brand new mountain bike (and little experience) and we still finished the course in about an hour.

This was a great ride. My husband and I are technically challenged but by going slowly enough we managed quite well. Lots here for more advanced riders and for us novices it was challenging and great fun packed into a small area. We rode the entire trail twice, took about an hour and a half. We plan on returning.
