Days River Pathway

Days River Pathway Professional Review and Guide

"Rolling next to the Days River, this popular trail follows a ridgeline with views of tree-covered hills. There are just enough roots and sandy sections to keep riders alert, but the trail is really a cruiser. Mats cover the sandiest sections and the buffed, well-marked singletrack makes confusing intersections easy to decipher.

Sections of the trail touch private land, and cyclists should always stay on the main path. It is rare to have the trail to yourself; expect to see other people, from the high school cross-country team to hikers with dogs. However, this is the Upper Peninsula, and even popular trails seem deserted compared with other parts of Michigan. Tread: 9 miles of singletrack."
