Jones Lake State Forest Campground Professional Review and Guide
"These sites are arranged in branching lollipop loops in the woods on the east side of Jones Lake. The boat ramp makes this ideal for anglers looking to catch some of the resident walleye, pike, bass, and panfish, but that is the end of on-site activities. The closest hiking is 16 miles southeast on the 11.5 miles of rolling terrain at the Mason Tract. The North Branch of the Au Sable River is 10 miles away as well."
