Two Tawases and a Beach Professional Review and Guide
"For this ride's fantastic scenery, give the credit to Lake Huron and Tawas Bay. Some credit must also go to Tawas City and East Tawas for making it easy to enjoy. A 7-mile long lighted path follows the shoreline of Tawas Bay through Tawas City and East Tawas on its way to Tawas Point State Park. Along the paths are parks, lake accesses, the county museum, and a historic lighthouse.
The other part of the ride, off the path, is no slouch on the scenery either: Tawas River, rolling hills, farms, and marshes. Begin at the state park, visiting the Tawas Point Lighthouse before or after the ride. Things to see: Tawas Point, historic lighthouse, scenic views of Lake Huron, towns of Tawas City and East Tawas."
