Cedar River North State Forest Campground Professional Review and Guide
"The Cedar River takes its name from the trees along the banks. This slow- flowing, tannin-rich waterway makes its way south to the larger waters of Green Bay and is a pleasant paddle. Area outfitters serve those who need a canoe or kayak, and apparently they deliver. Camp- sites are grassy and packed dirt, with some right on the water and shaded by the cedars, as well as tamarack and birch. A few steps grant carry-in access for paddlers. Hikers have access to the 8-mile Cedar River Pathway. The river has bass and trout for anglers but isn’t so great for a swim."
