Dr. T. K. Lawless Park Professional Review and Guide
"For campers looking to rough it, this is a nice little gem. Originally cre- ated by Eagle Scouts, this well-shaded forest campground is cheap and rarely fills up. It is still popular with the Scouts. There is a cabin and a shelter with electricity, and other parts of the park have more modern facilities. Hikers and bikers have 7 miles of scenic trails with lake and scenic overlooks, and mountain bikers have 10 miles of rougher terrain. A disc golf course offers a round of 18 holes, and fishing is possible on 4 lakes. In winter there’s inner-tube sledding and cross- country skiing."
