Crystal Mountain Trails Professional Review and Guide
"This ride offers two distinct personalities. The first 4.9 miles provide a mostly flat, laid-back ramble, perfect for families and beginning mountain bikers. The last 2.5 miles, however, abruptly put an end to the mellow ride.
Climbing steeply up and down Crystal’s cross-country ski trails, the last section ends with a fast singletrack rush through the woods. Sand dots the trails, and families should consider making the first 4.9 miles an out-and-back ride. Cyclists should not leave the resort, however, without exploring Crystal’s other amenities—from elegant condominiums to world-class golf. Tread: 0.2 mile of dirt road, 0.9 mile of paved road, 2.2 miles of singletrack, 4.1 miles of doubletrack/ wide ski trail."
