Bay City State Recreation Area

Bay City State Recreation Area Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"The park road separates the campgrounds from the lakeshore, where you can find Tobico Marsh, one of the largest surviving coastal wetlands on the Great Lakes. Birding here is notably good. The campsites have good shade cover from tall hardwood trees, but there isn’t much privacy between them. Beach lovers have a nice sandy stretch along Lake Huron’s Sagi- naw Bay. The Saginaw Bay Visitor Center is an award-winning educational facility at the park."
