Baraga State Park Professional Review and Guide
"With nice views east out over Keweenaw Bay on Lake Superior, this state park lies right off the highway coming down out of the peninsula. While the campsites are separated from the lake by the highway, the park also has lake access with paths to get down to the water but not a sandy beach. The sites themselves are grassy with only partial shade. Railroad tracks run parallel to the highway and put the campground right between the two. Hiking is limited to a lollipop trail less than a mile long into the woods beyond the tracks. The park hosts an annual harvest festival in September and the fall colors are notable."
