Old Grade Campground—Manistee National Forest Professional Review and Guide
"Located in the national forest among wetlands, this campground is best for getting away from it all and seeing some wildlife. There’s even a short interpretive trail through the forest. Sites are shaded by birch and hemlock forest. Although this is right on the Little Man- istee River, it is a shallow stretch. So paddling is not recommended, and the only angler interest is likely to be some trout fishing."
