Highbank Lake National Forest Campground

Highbank Lake National Forest Campground Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"The Manistee National Forest maintains a handful of campgrounds between the towns of Baldwin and White Cloud, all close to M 37. The Pere Marquette River and several of its tributaries run through this part of the forest, and the area verily bristles with recreational opportunities—camping, hiking, paddling, and fishing, to name a few.

Nearby, the North Country Trail winds around rivers and lakes, passing close enough to most of these campgrounds to be connected by short spurs."
