Jackson Lake State Forest Campground Professional Review and Guide
"This state forest campground is a shaded couple of loops in deciduous forest with a sprinkling of pine throughout. The carry-in boat launch gives access to the small and quiet lake and its smallmouth bass and panfish. Rush and Clear Lakes are nearby for the same catch. While there are hiking and ORV opportunities in the area, this site has little to recommend it over sites that actually have the trails or spur trails to the network. Still, the sites are spacious and generally available, and 15 of them can handle a bigger RV."
