University of Michigan Nichols Arboretum Trails Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"The network of trails at the Nichols Arboretum crisscross a diverse landscape of wooded hills, wetlands, shrub and flower gardens, prairies, and a long stretch of the Huron River. The Arb, as it’s known locally, is a popular retreat for University of Michigan students, who come here to study, read, or sunbathe on grassy hillsides; picnic under majestic trees; or pursue a variety of outdoor activities, including running, disc sports, and hiking."
