Pontiac Lake Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"That popularity comes at a modest cost. It can get busy on the weekends, and the trail takes a beating from heavy use. There’s a lot of exposed gravel and a few rutted areas. This doesn’t detract from the ride, but be aware that the turns can sometimes be skittish due to the exposed gravel.
This is a fast and flowing trail that’s not overly technical. There are a few relatively tight single-track sections, but for the most part this trail lends itself to those who like to accelerate. Like all mountain bike trails, this trail takes concentration, but nowhere near that of nearby Highland. Most of the hills are clear of obstacles, so it’s just a matter of how strong you can climb."
