Manchester–Bethel Church

Manchester–Bethel Church Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This hilly dirt-road route begins and ends in Manchester and is one of the hilliest areas of Washtenaw County, though most of the hills are gently rolling. There are a few sections with sharp but short climbs and one long, fast downhill. The area is mostly filled with farms and wide-open farm fields: fi eld crops, cattle, horses, and sheep.

After the ride, check out the village of Manchester. It has many historic buildings right around downtown that have been beautifully restored. In particular, look for St. Mary’s Church laden in fi eldstone on the west side of town at Macomb and Main Streets. The entire downtown area is worth a wind-down walk."
