Sunken Lake Campground and County Park Professional Review and Guide
"Limestone underlies the land in this area, and over time dissolving of minerals creates formations or collapsing sinkholes known as karst topography. Sinkholes can be viewed in the area, especially in this park. In fact, the lake level is controlled by sinkholes. The campground has partial shade and modern facilities but also sites of a rustic sort. The eastern- most sites of the campground loop have the lake right behind them. The 160-acre park is nicely wooded, and the lake offers good fishing."
