Trail Information

Nearby City
7-8 nautical miles
11.31-foot range at Milbridge. Currents flood to the north.
Tidal Information
Currents are strong in this area; avoid paddling against them or in opposing winds, which steepen the waves. The south end of Bois Bubert is directly exposed to the open ocean and whatever swells it may bring. The shallow areas south of the island and Little Bois Bubert stretch out for some distance, producing breaking waves. The crossing between Bois Bubert and Jordans Delight is similarly exposed and might be best paddled toward slack tide. Plan to be at Petit Manan Island around low tide for the most tidal advantage; slack tides should be the least dangerous time to be near the Petit Manan Bar.
