This is a steep forested climb that probably would have been rated higher by my wife and I if the small viewpoint atop of Bernhard had not been clouded in - the risk of any hazy day in Acadia. The hike is suprisingly steep nearly all the way - and has a small section of old growth near the top. We went down the sluiceway for a loop.
