Cousins River Trail Professional Review and Guide
"This preserve is jointly managed by the Freeport YMCA, the Cousins River easement, and the Powell Point Freeport Conservation Trust. There are three main trails at your disposal, and you will end up by the Cousins River, where water-loving dogs can take a dip. The trail starts uphill and then goes into the woods and becomes less strenuous. The tree markings are clear, and elevated walkways have been installed where there is mud or a wet area. Dogs are allowed off leash here, but you must clean up after your pet (so bring bags for pet waste)."
