Turner Pond

Turner Pond Professional Review and Guide

"Turner Pond is a rare, undeveloped gem with few visitors. Islands of all sizes dot the surface of this long and narrow pond, making it seem much larger than its 193 acres. There is one very smooth, gigantic boulder out in the middle, just inviting you to climb on it. Flat spots tucked up under the pines on both the mainland and the islands appear to be made just for picnicking.

Here are two locations in particular: Leaving the boat access, travel up the right shore past the first peninsula; there is one on the right-hand shore opposite the large island. Farther up the pond on the left-hand side is a beautiful little spot on an island. Prominent fish species: largemouth bass and chain pickerel."
