Shin Brook Falls Professional Review and Guide
"Shin Brook Falls is one of Maine’s highest and most scenic waterfalls. The hike to the falls is short and easy. The descent to the base of the falls can be challenging, but the view is worth the work. The pool below the falls is a fine swimming hole. Like so many waterfalls in Maine, Shin Brook Falls drops over dark slate. Nearby, where Shin Brook empties into the Seboeis River is Grand Pitch—a falls not as impressive as Shin Brook Falls, but worth hiking to. This falls is surrounded by a forest of towering pines. The 1.1-mile hike to it is relatively flat."
