Seboeis Lake

Seboeis Lake Professional Review and Guide

"The only word to describe Seboeis Lake is spectacular. From the main lake you can see Mount Katahdin in Baxter State Park to the north. There are beautiful tree-covered islands in many places, including the entrance to Bear Brook Cove, Northwest Pond, down in the southern arm, and up in The Inlet.

Large boulders line much of the shore, and if you paddle back into the outlet on the eastern shore halfway down the lake, you will see an extraordinary number of boulders both sticking up out of the water and submerged. A number of fairly large northern white cedars appear along the shore in this cove, which is lined with cattails and other marsh vegetation."
