Rocky Lake II

Rocky Lake II Professional Review and Guide

"As we paddled up this southern arm (albeit during a dry summer), almost every single paddle stroke struck the mud bottom of this heavily vegetated, marshy lake section. We tried to paddle up the northwestern arm to Sunken Lake but had to turn back at about the halfway point because of shallow water.

If you are here when the water is a little deeper, it would be well worth the trip up this, the most interesting arm of the lake. The Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife claims this waterway is normally at least a few feet deep.. Prominent fish species: brook trout (primarily in the winter) and yellow perch."
