Josh Pond and Josh Stream Professional Review and Guide
"We enjoyed paddling here, especially when wind made paddling the area’s larger lakes treacherous. Unfortunately, when we visited in 2004, the entire shoreline was for sale as one large 1,565-acre parcel. As we paddled up narrow Josh Stream as it meandered through a vast, shrubby marsh, listening to the ever-present yellowthroats and whitethroated sparrows calling from the undergrowth, we wondered about the fate of this pristine lake. FISH: smallmouth bass, white perch, chain pickerel."
