Folsom, Crooked, and Upper Ponds Professional Review and Guide
"These are gorgeous ponds, with very little development. Folsom and Crooked ponds lie in a gorgeous setting, with rolling hills in the background. Their three sections, separated by narrow channels, are shallow, with water lilies and pickerelweed dominating many areas.
There are a few small islands, and the land is thickly vegetated down to the water’s edge. There is high tree-species diversity, with white cedar, white pine, lots of hemlocks, paper birch, and red maple in evidence. We saw at least ten loons, and many ducks fed in the shallows."
