Little Cranberry Island Professional Review and Guide
"A hike along the beaches and roads of an offshore community. The ferry docks at the village of Islesford which has a seasonal restaurant on the dock, a general store, the Islesford Museum, and the Blue Duck Ship's Store, a historic store owned by Acadia National Park. The museum is open only in summer, when it is staffed by a park ranger. It contains photographs taken during the extreme winter of 19221923, when the ocean froze between the island and Northeast Harbor. General location: Islesford in the Cranberry Isles, about 2.5 miles south of the eastern section of Mount Desert Island, Acadia National Park."
