Harpswell Cliffs Professional Review and Guide

"The Cliff Trail follows Strawberry Creek—a narrow tidal inlet—to a small waterfall at its head, then passes the salt marsh at the head of Henry Creek before crossing a rocky ridge to the shore of Long Reach. The trail climbs along Long Reach to the top of 150-foot-high cliffs with fine views. Beyond the cliffs the trail descends through woods filled with fairy houses to the trailhead.

Behind the Harpswell Town Hall, the Cliff Trail follows
Strawberry Creek north to a small waterfall at its head. The
creek—really a narrow tidal inlet—winds through a salt marsh hemmed in by dark evergreens. The trail continues through hardwoods to the salt marsh at the head of Henry Creek. Past the marsh, the trail climbs a rocky ridge of weathered sedimentary rock rusty with age."
