Sewall Pond Conservation Area Arrowsic / Georgetown

Sewall Pond Conservation Area (Arrowsic / Georgetown) Professional Review and Guide

"A great place for canine romping in or out of the freshwater pond. The main trail is wide and spacious for your dogs to run around off-leash. It is about 0.3 mile from where you park to the water’s edge (Sewall Pond). There are no maps and no trail markings, so keep your bearings so you can get back to your car. There are short trails that veer off to the left and right from the main trail; these are out-and- back jaunts.

The water is clean and clear and invites water-loving dogs with its gentle lapping on the rocks. In the winter this lake is frozen solid. It does not take long to explore this small preserve, but if you sit down on the rocks and let the dogs run around and play, plenty of time will go by. Please bring your own poop bags and clean up after yourself and your pets. It is not permitted to build fires in this area. Leave only footprints behind."
