Wolfe’s Neck Woods Trail Professional Review and Guide
"Located on a long peninsula that juts into scenic Casco Bay, Wolfe’s Neck Woods State Park is 233 acres of shady forests and rocky shoreline. In 1969 Freeport residents Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence M. Smith generously donated this land to the state for the establishment of the park. Today, Wolfe’s Neck Woods is dissected by numerous trails that offer visitors of all ages a variety of short hiking opportunities. In addition to self-guided hikes, visitors are drawn to Wolfe’s Neck’s naturalist-led walks, presented throughout the summer."
