Wolfe’s Neck Woods

Wolfe’s Neck Woods Professional Review and Guide

"This easy hike loops along the shore of Casco Bay past Googins Island and its osprey nest. The shore of the bay is made up of interesting and varied bedrock that changes in character with the changing tide.

The shore of the Harraseeket River—actually a long, narrow bay—is a high bluff with several rocky overlooks. The forest in between is oakpine and hemlock; in each, you will find many mature trees."
