Bradbury Mountain State Park is crisscrossed with more than 20 miles of trails. Most of the trails are open to hikers, horses, mountain bikers, and cross-country skiers in the winter. The Summit Trail up to the open granite summit is one of the few hiker-only trails. The summit offers fine views east across the flat coastal plain to the ocean. The descent off the mountain follows two of the other hiker-only trails through mature forest that has grown up on former farm land.
