Bemis Range Loop

Bemis Range Loop Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This relatively difficult hike features the four open peaks of the Bemis Range and the ledges that connect them. You hike the A.T. 7.3 miles and connect with the Bemis Stream Trail the last 5.6 miles.

At the beginning of the hike, there is a 0.5-mile road walk from the parking area at the trailhead of the Bemis Stream Trail to the Appalachian Trail. In season, blueberries are abundant along the ledges; on clear days, there are excellent views of the Rangeley lakes to the north as well as most of the major peaks of Northwest Maine."
