Tote Road Professional Reviews and Guides
"In the 1940s, Bradbury Mountain was home to downhill skiing and a rope tow. Now, the nearly 500-acre park has 8.0 miles of cross-country ski and snowshoe trails. If you want to get up to the top of the 484-foot mountain, you’ve got to do it by your own power. Bradbury Mountain is the attraction of this state park, one of the five original state parks in Maine. The state bought the parks from the federal government in 1939. The park, located midway between Lewiston-Auburn and Portland, has well-marked trails, complete with blazes and mileage signs. Surface quality: Groomed after storms. Skiers make their own tracks."
