Saddle Trail

Saddle Trail is a hiking trail in Piscataquis County, Maine. It is within Baxter State Park. It is two miles long and begins at 4,320 feet altitude. Traveling the entire trail is 4.1 miles with a total elevation gain of 2,402 feet. The trail ends near the Chimney Pond Campground camp site and Baxter Peak (elevation 5,266 feet). There is also a ranger station near the end of the trail. This trail connects with the following: Hunt Trail, Chimney Pond Trail, Cathedral Trail, Knife Edge Trail and Northwest Basin Trail.
