South Branch Pond Campground to Upper S. Branch Pond lean-to segment: Very scenic & easy. 4+ views across ponds and down glacial valleys. Mostly flat trail with semi smooth surface. Can swim in the ponds to cool off. V good trail for 5-10 yr olds & seniors. Those who like to canoe & hike should know one can paddle & portage the combined span of the ponds and then walk the other direction. Also, one can combine this segment with a 1-4 mi. RT hike on the v scenic Howe Brook Trail.
