"Horse Mountain Cliffs are the ?rst thing visitors to the north entrance of Baxter see as they approach the park. The Horse Mountain Trail leads to the top of the cliffs with ?ne views. A side trail leads to the mountain’s wooded summit. The main trail continues across the mountain to Bill?sh Pond. A side trail leads steeply down to Bill?sh Brook, where it enters a narrow gorge."
