Great Pond and Long Pond Professional Review and Guide
"Great Pond is a highly productive 8,239-acre lake in the Belgrade Lakes chain. Neighboring Long Pond is a long, narrow lake of 2,714 acres. Belgrade Lakes Village separates the two lakes. Both contain the same species of fish, and both are easily accessible.
Both lakes also see a considerable amount of fishing pressure. Some bank fishing is possible. On Great Pond, there is a 2-fish bag limit and a 24-inch minimum length on pike; on Long Pond, there is a 16-inch minimum length on landlocked salmon.
Key Species: landlocked salmon, pike, smallmouth and largemouth bass, white perch, pickerel, brown trout and brook trout possible"
