Angel Falls Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This short hike takes you to one of Maine’s tallest waterfalls, which appears to burst out of the forest as it falls to the bottom of a huge cliff.

Angel Falls is often reported as Maine's tallest waterfall, which it is not. But it still is very impressive as it shoots out of a notch, caressing a near vertical cliff before continuing along Mountain Brook. The hike is straightforward (although the drive is a bit challenging), but there are numerous stream crossings, which can be a challenge in high water. Bring hiking poles, and be prepared to get your feet wet."
