Salmon Falls River

Salmon Falls River Professional Review and Guide

"This river forms the boundary between lower Maine and New Hampshire. For most of its considerable length, it is but a small stream. However, in Milton Mills there is a dam that causes the river to widen to canoeable proportions.

Although this section of the river is only about two miles long, if you paddle here it will seem much longer. The channel meanders through endless acres of aquatic vegetation. Given the vast amount of underwater structure, there are healthy fish populations, including, we are told, some huge smallmouth bass lurking under the lily pads."
