Quarry Path Professional Reviews and Guides

"This two-section trail is for people staying at the Blackwoods Campground or for hikers eager to explore a new trail in the park. The trail, inaugurated on June 7, 2014, is excellent for campers seeking a hike to Gorham Mountain, Sand Beach, or Thunder Hole or just a short walk to Otter Cove.

An endowment from the Friends of Acadia helped finance construction of the trails. Volunteers from the Friends and the Acadia Youth Conservation Corps helped the Park Service construct the trails."
