Parkman Mountain Trail Professional Reviews and Guides
"The 360-degree views from these 900-foot-plus peaks, plus the relatively easy access from ME 198, make these summits popular. You may encounter crowds and even hear the noise of traffic. But by looping up from this lesser-used trailhead near the Norumbega parking area, rather than from the more crowded Parkman Mountain parking lot, you may get more solitude.Follow the Hadlock Brook Trail 0.1 mile to the less-frequented Parkman Mountain trailhead. You’ll start the Parkman Mountain loop by crossing three carriage roads in quick succession within 0.3 mile. The trail then parallels the carriage road for a bit, turns right at a huge rock, and soon takes a sharp left."
